Our Story
The City Hyderabad Deccan is famous for its historical and cultural features across the world. In this Historical City Hyderabad Deccan, 3 decades ago, in 1937, Late Mr. Syed Akbar Shah started the business of perfumes under the name of "Shah Perfumes" in Machli Kaman at Gulzar Houz near the historical monument Charminar, where high-quality Perfumes were made at the time of Nawabs, By the grace of God, these perfumes were well known and liked by everyone.
Among them, some of the famous perfumes were Musk, Gabar, Agar, Gul, Khus, Heena, Moulsari, Raat ki Rani, Pandri, and many more which were prepared according to the seasons.
After the death of Late Syed Akbar Shah, his son Late Syed Abdul Sattar Shah took over this business and made the name Shah Perfumes in the world of perfume business.
He also launched a gems business, which he called
"Shah Perfumes & Gems" at the time and had a great deal of success.
Among these famous gems were Yemeni Aqeeq, Emerald, Ruby, Yellow Sapphire, Blue Sapphire, on which Arabic verses were blunted to enhance its beauty.
Apart from this, new inventions were done in perfumery in which Sahag, Zafran, Oudh, Musk, Ambar, Shamamatul Ambar, Zeenath, Jogan, Pacholi, Jannat ul Firdous, Pahadi Phool, Majmua, Gulab, Motya, Kiyoda, Mogra and many more are very popular and well known.
After the death of Late Syed Abdul Sattar Shah, his sons took over the business and set the stage for further development and established
Shah Perfumes & Gems, Gulzar Houz, Hyderabad and other branches.
Following the footsteps of forefathers, By the Grace of Almighty, Syed Abdul Khader Shah created the unique identity of Shah Perfumes & Gems in the world with new inventions. He also made a name in the business of pure fragrant woods such as Oudh, Sandalwood, Dakhoon, and Bakhoor. He made the name of Shah Perfumes in the hearts of tourists by being truthful and reliable to the customers. The new inventions of Shah Perfumes include Dhanul Oudh, Oudh Khadeem, Oudh Sufi, Oudh Kambodi, Oudh Hindi Khadeem, Oudh Kambodi Khadeem,
Oudh Mabkhar, Noora, Oudh Badr, Oudh Zara, Oudh Abaiz, Musk, Musk Abaiz, Mukhallat, Musk Rose, Kala Gulab, Armani, Chocolate, Strawberry, Muskaan, Shad, Sandal, Shah’s Attar, and many more. Apart from this, the Gem business was also further expanded.
